Rob McAlister Pre-Licensed Professional, MA
As a therapist, Rob brings a curious and compassionate presence, along with a steady belief in your capacity to grow. He works from a values- and strengths-based perspective, meaning he will pay attention to what matters most to you, and build on what’s already working in your life. Rob's approach is eclectic and flexible - He will meet you where you are and adapt to support your unique needs and goals. Whether you're exploring something difficult or celebrating victories both large and small, he's there with care and clarity.
Therapy can be hard work - but that doesn’t mean it has to be heavy all the time. Rob often brings a quick wit and a sense of humor into sessions, and many clients find that laughter becomes a meaningful part of the work together. Sometimes, therapy can actually be fun! Humor helps us feel more connected, creates moments of relief, and reminds us of the beauty revealed by being fully human.
Rob deeply values your unique story. He is genuinely interested in exploring the trials, triumphs, and turning points that shape each chapter of your life. Therapy with him is less about “fixing” and more about uncovering. Together, you will discover the themes, patterns, and possibilities already present in your experience. Your story matters, and he considers it a privilege to sift through it with you.
